Spokesman Andrew Wyatt reported during a lunch break on Friday afternoon that Bill Cosby may in fact testify in his trial.
Wyatt said the team are still evaluating whether or not Cosby should take the stand, as the comedian said at the beginning of his trial that he would not.
Cosby has refused to let his wife, Camille, attend the trial, to protect her from the media. But, others have shown their support for Cosby such as Keshia Knight Pulliam, Sheila Frazier and Joe Torry.
He is confident that his lawyers will contradict Andrea Constand’s testimony, and prove they were in a consensual relationship.
Cosby is accused of drugging and molesting 44 year old Andrea Constand at his Pennsylvania home in 2004.
Constand said that he rpovided her with blue pills, however the ones Cosby provided to detective James Reape were pink, known as Benadryl.
Prosecutors said they don’t believe that Cosby gave Constand the drug Benadryl, but in fact gave her Quaaludes, according to NBC news.
More details will be given later today.
