Adam Levine, the co-star of “The Voice,” offered to pay for former contestant, Christina Grimmie’s funeral expenses. Grimmie’s manager, Brian Teefey, created a GoFundMe page and have raised $153,000, “to assist her family in their time of need.”
Grimmie was only 22-years-old when she was shot and killed on Friday night in Orlando, Florida. She was signing autographs with her band, Before You Exit. She was known for being 3rd place in the show, “The Voice” in its 6th season back in 2014.
Levine, personally called her mother and offered to pay, but pretty sure her mother denied his request. The money raised from GoFundMe will be used for the family to move out of their current home and the funeral expenses.
There will be a candlelight vigil at 8:45 p.m. tonight in Grimmie’s hometown in Marlton, New Jersey.
