Shortly after Marvin Gaye’s family won a $7.3 million lawsuit against Robin Thicke and Pharrell for using “Blurred Lines”, the family is now considering “Happy” is a rip off of Gaye’s “Ain’t That Peculiar.”

Pharrell denies that he copied Gaye’s “Got To Give It Up” when he wrote “Blurred Lines,” but the judge and Gaye’s family believe otherwise.

For now, Gaye’s family stated they are not considering legal action however that does not mean it will not happen in the future!

“We’re not in that space,” said Janis Gaye, Marvin’s ex-wife. “We’re just in the moment today and we’re satisfied.”
