The U.K. may be the next target of a terrorist attack. Just moments after reports confirmed The Charlie Hebdo suspects and Vincennes gunmen were killed in a police raid on their compound in Dammartin-en-Goele, reports of a possible terrorist attack by al-Qaeda on Britain swarmed media outlets.
Andrew Parker, head of British intelligence agency MI5, said “an attempted mass-casualty attack was a growing possibility. Although we and our partners try our utmost, we know we cannot hope to stop everything”. This is definitely alarming since two days ago 12 people were killed by three gunmen at the Charlie Hebdo office in Paris. The U.K authorities are onhigh alert and the people are in fear that a similar terrorist attack will occur.
