Your credit cards are about to get quite the workout. To celebrate its 20th birthday, Amazon (AKA online shopping nirvana) will introduce “Prime Day.” What does that mean, exactly? For 24 hours, anyone who shops on Amazon will encounter massive discounts and, reportedly, “more deals than Black Friday.” That means you can get a cheap vacuum without having to literally trample someone to get it. We’re listening.
Like the name suggests, this event is only possible for Amazon Prime customers. But even if you do use Prime, it will only happen in the United States, Spain, the United Kingdom, Japan, Italy, France, Germany, Austria and Canada. The event kicks off on July 15 – midnight for all of you on Eastern Time in the United States.
Amazon hasn’t said what kind of deals they’ll release. However, they have confirmed that you can expect a new deal about every ten minutes. This is going to get tough but exciting, everyone. Can you feel it? We sure can.
Happy shopping and happy birthday to Amazon!
