The rumor mill was in full force today, and it made us nervous!

Reports surfaced earlier today about the end of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s 17-year-old marriage. However, Will Smith ultimately shut down these rumors and put them to rest.

The star took to Facebook to announce the following:

“Under normal circumstances, I don’t usually respond to foolishness. (Because it’s contagious) But, so many people have extended me their “deepest condolences” that I figured – “What the hell… I can be foolish, too!”

So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness… Jada and I are…

NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! : -)

I promise you all – if I ever decide to divorce my Queen – I SWEAR I’ll tell you myself!

#Dumb People Should Have to Wear Scarlet D’s”

They’re one of our favorite Hollywood couples, so we are glad this is not happening!

The couple has been the center of gossip for a few years now as cheating rumors have swirled around both actors. There was even a point when the media believed that the pair was in an open relationship.

In 2011, Pinkett Smith was accused of cheating on her husband with her Hawthorne co-star, Marc Anthony. Plus, in 2013, Smith was reportedly having an affair with his Suicide Squad co-star Margot Robbie.

RadarOnline originally published the divorce claim, but other sources have reported that the rumors are not true. And now that Smith himself cleared the air, we are so relieved!

If this divorce was really going to happen, then the two actors would have had to divide their shared $240 million, and they would have had to figure out a custody agreement for their 17-year-old son, Jaden, and their 14-year-old daughter, Willow.
