Like father, like son.
The Boston Celtics complete a 3-player trade sending Austin Rivers to Clippers, where his dad, Doc, is head coach.
The former No. 10 overall pick has been inefficient thus far in his career, shooting under 40 percent through two-plus seasons. However, he has shown a propensity for getting to the hoop, and his assist-to-turnover ratio has hovered right around a very solid 3.0 for much of the 2014-15 campaign.
Chemistry with the coach clearly won’t be a problem, learning from Chris Paul who is arguably the best guard in the league, can only be beneficial for the 22-year-old’s development.
Looks like he will feel right at home in the Clippers locker room.
