Beech Nut Recalls Baby Food Jars Because Of Glass Pieces

Beech Nut has announced a recall of certain baby food products, because jars may contain small glass pieces.

“We have initiated a voluntary recall for our Classics Stage 2 Sweet Potato & Chicken following a single report of a small glass piece found in a jar of the product,” the post on their official website reads.

The affected products is their Classic Stage 2 Sweet Potato and Chicken, which is in a 4 oz jar marked with an expiration date of December 2016. The product numbers, written on the cap, range from “12395750815” through “12395750821.” The USDA mark of inspection contains the establishment number “P-68A.”

Refunds and/or replacements can be attained by either returning the jar to the store where it was purchased, or calling the hotline at (866) 674-4446.
