Around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, the Winnett Building of the Community College of Philadelphia went into lockdown after a report of an armed man being on campus. Police told students to find shelter where they were while they searched the building. The rest of the campus quickly after went into lockdown as well
Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey, commented to the media saying that witnesses told police they saw two men who seemed to know each other get into an argument on the street outside the Winnett Building, then one of the men pulled a gun on the other before entering the building.
The Philadelphia Police as of 11:20 a.m. have said that there have been no reports of any injuries. They have also said that this is not an active shooter situation, but a personal incident where they are working to clear the area while looking for the suspect.
