Michigan is busy with news this week I would say. An inmate apparently wrestled a gun from a bailiff and opened fire killing two retired police officers, and shooting one civilian and a Sheriff’s Deputy in the arm this afternoon in a Michigan courthouse. The inmate was allegedly being moved from his holding cell by a bailiff and a Sheriff’s Deputy when a fight broke out. The inmate was able to disarm one of the officers. The inmate turned shooter was gunned down as other officers rushed to the scene. No identities are being released to the media and the courthouse will remain closed throughout Tuesday. Employees of the courthouse were told to stay in their offices and weren’t allowed to leave the scene. Berrien County Sheriff Paul Bailey says he knew both of the officers for years,a nd the days event was a tragedy.
“I stand here with a heavy heart today with what occurred at the courthouse,” Bailey said at an earlier briefing, describing the incident as “terrible, terrible.” – Paul Bailey County Sheriff

There is also a Presidential election that is going to be held in a few months.Law enforcement have been more secretive with information leaked to the press and I’m sure we will see more event of the same unfortunately.
