At least 13 people have been killed and 64 injured, including children, in a terrorist attack in tourist district Las Ramblas in Barcelona.
It has been reported that one of the suspects has been shot dead by police.
A van ploughed in to tourists before two gunmen got out and went in to a restaurant. Pictures and video have emerged from the scene, showing dozens of people on the ground.
The Daily Mail reports that eyewitnesses saw people screaming and running away after the incident.
Armed police and emergency services rushed to the aide of these people. Spanish prime minister Mariano Rajoy said that helping the injured is a priority and that he is working with emergency services.
People have been warned from visiting the tourist spot.
