Not many people want to return to a job they were fired from, but Charlie Sheen feels otherwise. He was fired from the sitcom Two and a Half Men in 2011, following a public feud with executive producer Chuck Lorre. Ashton Kutcher replaced Charlie.
Fans thought they would never see Charlie on the show ever again. Well as the old saying goes, never say never. Recently during an interview with TV Guide Magazine Charlie stated that he’s interested in returning to the sitcom for the season finale: “I’ve reached out to them and they’ve reached back. We’re trying to figure out what makes the most sense. If they figure it out like I’ve presented it to them and they want to include me in some final send-off, I’m available and I’m showing up early. If not, it’s on them. On the record, I would love to [return]. ”
I think the return of Charlie will not only make the Two and a Half Men fans extremely happy, but the ratings will skyrocket as well. It’s a win for everyone. If the producer allows him to return, I hope he has learned from the past, and doesn’t have a repeat of his previous “exit”.
