Taco Bell is about to become your favorite bar. Alex Boyle, a spokesman for Taco Bell, said that Chicago’s new Wicker Park Taco Bell will serve wine, beer, and alcoholic version of frozen drinks when it opens. The restaurant is opening some time this summer.
One drink that will be getting a boozy twist is Taco Bell’s famous Mountain Dew Baja Blast. That’s going to be one for the books. Additionally, this building won’t look anything like your typical, suburban Taco Bell.
Boyle claims that the location will have brick walls, prismatic glass, and they will try to feature some artwork from up-and-coming local artists. Guess if you’re going to serve liquor, you should give the people something classy to look at.
This will be the first United States Taco Bell to serve alcohol. Locations in Japan, South Korea, and Spain already do so.
I admitted that I love Taco Bell meat…but alcohol at TB is REALLY scary!
