Chris Brown and baby mama, Nia Guzman, headed to court on Friday, September 11. Not only did Chris want join custody for their one-year-old daughter, Royalty, but he also wants the courts to issue a gag order to stop Nia from calling him out in the news, and on social media.
Singer Brown, and model Guzman, are currently in the middle of a public feud, and are both firing shots at each other’s parenting skills.
Chris posted on Instagram “All that safety talk and not allowing me to see my daughter contradicts everything. Funny how I work a legit job and love my daughter to the fullest and I’m in her life. Well, if it ain’t the pot calling the kettle black. #goddontlikeugly.” This was after reports were surfacing in August that cops were searching for Nia’s former boyfriend for forging bad U.S. Treasury checks.
And Nia had no problem firing back, by saying “What’s funny is I’m a single mother… I moved away from Houston… He is a single man! Tuhhhhh @chrisbrownofficial.”
Nia didn’t stop there. She is also demanding for more child support. Reportedly, she wants Chris to pay $15,000 per month instead of the $2,500 that she’s currently receiving. Brown tweeted on August 6 claiming that she is using their daughter as her “meal ticket” and just wants more money.
What do you guys think??
As for an update, Chris Brown won joint custody of his baby girl Royalty, and gets to take her home today! They each have four days with her and will be switching back and forth. Not only did he win, but he got his wish, as the judge ordered Nia to stop bashing Chris on social media! YAY!
