A young girl was found alive in Iowa, three states away from her home in Pennsylvania, after going missing two days earlier.
Claire Ann Toman, 12, went missing from her Pennsylvania family home on Saturday evening, Nov. 29. After a 2-day search by her family and friends, she was finally found alive and well across the country in Iowa.
Thankfully, the family of a missing girl can rest easy tonight.
On Monday, Dec. 1, Claire Ann Toman was found unharmed in Iowa and was put in police custody so that she could be brought back to her family in Pennsylvania.
But how did she get there?, Unfortunately, it is unclear how Claire got to Iowa.
Before being found, she was last seen by her immediate family at around 1am on Saturday night/Sunday morning. When she was reported missing, she was wearing a grey sweatshirt and plaid pajama pants.
One report claimed that her parents believed Claire may have been trying to meet someone she met while playing an online game. However, that has not been confirmed.
No matter what happened, we are happy to hear that Claire was found safe and sound and will be returned to her family as soon as possible.
Our thoughts are with Claire’s family and friends at this time.
