Davone Bess, 30-years-old and a former Miami Dolphins player and former wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns, was in a standoff with police as he reportedly barricade himself inside of his home in Arizona after being in a traffic stop by the authorities. Bess reportedly sped off and barricaded himself in his vehicle and then to his home, that’s when the stand-off began. The police obtained a warrant to enter Bess’s home and detain the former NFL football player. Bess only had one year with the Browns before his career hit rock bottom and four seasons with the Miami Dolphins.
Since his infamous marijuana Twit Pic in 2014, the former NFL player now has 3 felony charges including endangerment, feeling flight and not stopping for a police officer. Bess was arrested after all of that at 4:45 am Monday morning. The star seems to be having trouble adjusting after he left the Miami Dolphins. He reportedly missed games for personal reasons and was arrested in an Airport for an altercation with a sheriff.
The man is clearly suffering from a mental breakdown of some sort and he needs treatment being a former football player knowing that concussions cause erratic behavior. He was reportedly shouting crazy things, like ” Hide the guns”, “Where is my weed”, and “I want to get in the end zone, throw me the football.”
