Shocking information about Donald Trump’s foreign policy ideas may have just been released.

On Wednesday morning’s broadcast of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, host Joe Scarborough interviewed former Director of Central Intelligence and ex-National Security Agency Director Michael Hayden about why he could not support the 2016 Republican nominee.

After Hayden slammed Trump for being too “erratic,” Scarborough retold a chilling story about how a recent meeting between Trump and a foreign policy expert advising him went.

Scarborough revealed that during the meeting, Trump, allegedly, repeatedly asked why the United States could not just use their nuclear weapons whenever they choose to.

“Several months ago, a foreign policy expert on the international level went to advise Donald Trump. And three times, [Trump] asked about the use of nuclear weapons. Three times he asked at one point if we had them why can’t we use them,” Scarborough said on Morning Joe.

Scarborough’s co-host, Mika Brzezinski, urged Republican leaders to use this information as a reason why they should not endorse Trump.

“Be careful, America, and be careful, Republican leaders. Your party is blowing up,” Brzezinski stated. “Just hold your endorsements.”

Scarborough then asked Hayden how quickly America’s nuclear weapons could be launched, if Trump wins the election and he, hypothetically, chooses to fire them off whenever he pleases.

“It’s scenario dependent, but the system is designed for speed and decisiveness. It’s not designed to debate the decision,” Hayden responded.

If this story is true, it will certainly shine even more of a negative light onto Trump’s campaign. His previous controversies have proven that his core group of supporters are with him no matter what, but Scarborough’s story may turn away a large amount of undecided voters.
