NBCUniversal announced on Monday, June 29, that Donald Trump is fired. They cut relationship ties with Trump due to his derogatory and controversial comments he made during his presidential announcement last week, referring to Mexicans as “rapists.” NBC is big on emphasizing importance of “respect and dignity for all people” and had to simply cut the ties between their business relationship.
The mogul’s official statement read that “Mr. Trump stands by his statements on illegal immigration, which are accurate. NBC is weak, and like everybody else is trying to be politically correct— that is why our country is in serious trouble.”
The network also adds that Trump’s entertainment with them, including the Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants, would also be pulled from the telecast. The Apprentice remains, but it was noted that the mogul would not be returning to the program.
“The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else’s problems,” the hotel mogul stated. “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best… They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.” Everybody is talking about this, and Trump knows he’s in deep. However, he still seems to stick by his word.
Despite the controversy this situation brought up Trump still stuck to his word as he told Us: “We must have strong borders and not let illegal immigrants enter the United States. As has been stated continuously in the press, people are pouring across our borders unabated. Public reports routinely state great amounts of crime are being committed by illegal immigrants. This must be stopped and it must be stopped now. Long ago I told NBC that I would not being doing The Apprentice because I am running for President in order to Make our Country Great Again”
