The old Donald Trump is, clearly, back.
As we all remember, Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign used to be full of problematic remarks in regards to race, gender and many other topics. Then, Kellyanne Conway became his new campaign manager, placed a teleprompter in front of him and tried to make him more presidential. While this seemed to work for a little while, one former beauty queen has caused Trump to go back to his old ways.
During the first debate, Hillary Clinton introduced a new face to the election — former Miss Universe Alicia Machado. Clinton claimed that Trump, allegedly, referred to Machado as “Miss Piggy” due to her weight and “Miss Housekeeping” due to her being Latina. Machado later recalled these experiences in several interviews and in new ads for Clinton.
This whole ordeal has gotten under Trump’s skin so much that he seems to have shed his new-found “presidential” demeanor. In an attempt to fight back against Clinton and Machado, Trump did what he does — go on a Twitter tirade.
In the string of tweets, the GOP presidential nominee slammed Machado for appearing in a “sex tape,” which was actually just Machado in bed with a man on a Mexican reality show. By using Machado in her ads, Trump says Clinton has “bad judgement.”
“Using Alicia M in the debate as a paragon of virtue just shows that Crooked Hillary suffers from BAD JUDGEMENT! Hillary was set up by a con,” Trump tweeted.
He continued, “Did Crooked Hillary help disgusting (check out sex tape and past) Alicia M become a U.S. citizen so she could use her in the debate?”
Wow, Crooked Hillary was duped and used by my worst Miss U. Hillary floated her as an “angel” without checking her past, which is terrible!

What Trump, most likely, doesn’t realize is that he is falling into Clinton’s trap by further proving that he lacks the temperament to be president. He is just making himself look more guilty and unstable by trying to further attack Machado. However, as this election has proved, that seems to be the only way Trump knows how to debate.
