Leaving plenty of users demented this morning, social photography app Instagram crashed today. Everyone was in search of the next popular social media site to share their life activities, events, and not to mention their disappointment.
Devoted users were unable to post their interesting photos from events such as the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival or their dog on the lawn. The crash lasted for about an hour and a half; Instagram was then up and running again around 10:30 am.
During that time, users were unable to upload images. Users were unable to reload their photo streaming feed, check their statistics on likes and follows and also check other users Instagram pages. Most of the functions were followed by this error message: “Sorry, we couldn’t complete your request. Our team has been notified and will investigate as soon as possible.”
Twitter was in a complete frenzy this morning due to this error of exchange; mutual users tweeted their rage of not being able to post on the app, from regular patrons to celebrity favorites.
Instagram has not yet commented on the reason for the crash. However, they were able to say how thankful they are for everyone’s patience via Twitter.
