The music world has been blowing up with the feud between Drake and Meek Mill, but there’s been another huge feud in the fighting world!

Floyd Mayweather and Ronda Rousey are going back and forth after Rousey dissed Mayweather at the ESPYS in July.

The two boxers were up against each other for the ESPYS Fighter of the Year award, and after Rousey won, Mayweather started off speaking nicely of the female boxer.

“A while back I didn’t know who Ronda Rousey was, so I’m pretty sure she got upset,” the most famous boxer in the world said in 2014. “I want to say congratulations to Ronda Rousey and the UFC. You guys have done a tremendous job and I’ve won probably six or seven ESPYS for Fighter of the Year. And I truly believe she deserves it. Congratulations to Ronda Rousey.”

Mayweather recently served two months in jail after he beat the mother of three of his children. The famous athlete has been charged with domestic violence on six different occasions.

At the ESPYS, Rousey brought up Mayweather’s dark past after defeating him.

“I wonder how Floyd feels being beaten by a woman for once,” Rousey said.

Though others saw Mayweather’s words as kind ones, Rousey didn’t find his congratulations sincere. She said she felt disrespected when Mayweather said he didn’t know who she was.

“I know for damn sure that he knew who I was, because he was running against me for Best Fighter that year and he has signed MMA fighters,” Rousey told the media in Los Angeles in July. “So his feigned ignorance was meant to be a snarky remark to me.”

On Thursday night, Mayweather talked back on ESPN’s SportsCenter.

“I’ve yet to see any MMA fighter, or other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 minutes,” Mayweather said, “When she can do that, then call me.”

Though these two are going head to head outside of the ring, they are arguably the most dominant athletes in the fighting world. Mayweather is undefeated 48-0, while Rousey if 12-0 in MMA, ending her last three fights combined in only 64 seconds.

You can catch Mayweather’s next fight with Andre Berto on Sept. 12 in Las Vegas.
