With 4th of July steadily approaching, the celebratory festivities are on the brink of everybody’s mind. Eager children and antsy party goers are anxiously waiting for the traditional Independence Day celebrations.
The most anticipated event of the night, however, is undoubtedly the firework explosions that are expected to occur throughout the night. The 35th annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks show is unlikely to disappoint.
With artists like Hunter Hayes, Ariana Grande, Lionel Richie, and Miranda Lambert to help kick off the massive celebration, the show will be filled with illustrious musical appearances as well as entertaining light show.
The show begins at 9pm but we suggest arriving no later than 5pm to get a good seat for the show. For the first time since 2009, the show will be taking place on the East River. Witness an iconic event this 4th of July as you sit along the Brooklyn Bridge and experience the magic.
For those of you who are not able to attend this event, the rest of New York as well as cities like Washington DC and Boston will be hosting luminous experiences as well.
Boston, Massachusetts will be hosting a massive light show for itsproud patriots that will launch from five separate locations. The 21-minute show will be exquisitely choreographed to the melodious sounds of Boston Pops Symphony.
It is no surprise that the nation’s capitol will dominate the firework shows this year. DC will proudly host an incandescent display over the Lincoln Memorial that will illuminate the sky as well as our nation’s monuments.
So grab a picnic basket and enjoy the most patriotic day of the year by observing a show that only comes around once a year.
