If you live in Sandy Springs, Georgia and you pick up trash before your shift, you will go to jail.
Kevin McGill, a local garbage man, learned that the hard way.He will spend the next 30 days in jail for picking up trash at around 5 a.m. one morning in violation of a local ordinance. Umm really?
McGill will spend 14 weekends in jail – city prosecutor Bill Riley said picking up waste too early has been a recurring problem. McGill did not have an attorney with him when he was sentenced.
Sometimes the law is really not fair. The least they could do is to fine the man.
