After polling at an embarrassing 0.5% in the polls for the republican nomination for president, NBC News has confirmed that Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is expected to announce he is stepping down in the race.

This isn’t much of a surprise, and it seems that the other 99.5% of the polls won’t be too strongly affected by Walker’s decision. It is likely it will be at a press conference at 6pm Eastern time.
