David Gordon Green’s Halloween Kills will have you in suspense within just the first few seconds. The movie begins with a man screaming “Get in the house!”. If you are into gruesome and gory than you will enjoy this film. The now 12 movie franchise picks up where the 2018 film (also directed by David Gordon Green) dropped off. The action begins after the last scene in the 2018 film Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) thought they had defeated the immortal Michael Myers, in this film they learn they most certainly did not.
However, do not expect any ass kicking action from Jamie Lee Curtis, in this movie the main characters are the folks of Haddonfield. It only took 40 years for this town to finally say enough and get together to end Michael Myers. Throughout the movie the entire town chants “Evil Dies Tonight!” as they are determined to end with Michael Myers will most likely not occur since Universal has already announced another sequel called “Halloween Ends” due to come out next year. “Halloween Kills” premieres Oct. 15 in theaters and on Peacock. Rated R.
