For those of you fighting an uncontrollable urge for another taste of the Harry Potter adventure, you’re in luck! The spin off film Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them reportedly started filming Monday morning with a stellar cast, including Irish Actor Colin Farrell, who will be playing a wizard in this new magical tale.

The film is to be based on the journey of Newt Scamander, author of the book Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, which was a wizarding textbook used by Harry Potter at Hogwarts in the films. Seventy years before Potter and the gang cause havoc at Hogwarts, the magizoologist Scamander, to be played by Eddie Redmayne, finds himself in New York while on a mission to discover magical creatures and along the way meets some of Rowling’s fantastical characters.

Despite the new wizarding crew, author J.K Rowling said in a statement last year:

“The laws and customs of the hidden magical society will be familiar to anyone who has read the Harry Potter books or seen the films.”

Also encouraging is the fact that the original behind the scenes crew is coming together for the spin off. Rowling is writing the script and is expected to extend the story for three chapters, though filming depends on the success of the first, according to Warner Brothers. However, with the help of David Yates, David Heyman, Steve Kloves, who all worked on bringing the Harry Potter books to the big screen, and of course an enormous and loyal fan base, the film should be a knockout in the box office.

It is expected to be released in theaters on November 18, 2016, which is just right around the corner so subside your appetite for now, but your craving for wizardry is sure to be satisfied!
