A college that allows guns does not allow sex toys on it’s campus. Students respond with a protest of dildos. Several large companies joined in to help the protesters. Hundreds of sex toys were given away at the rally on Wednesday, with more than 4,500 donations from Hustler, several pornographic film companies, and the Austin sex shop Dreamer’s.

Students from the University of Texas were staging a protest against a new gun law that allows them to take concealed handguns into classrooms, buildings and dorms.

Daily Show correspondent Roy Wood Jr. got involved and lead students in a “cocks not glocks” protest against he law allowing guns on campus but not sex toys. A new law will allow guns on college campuses in the state of Texas. Obscenity rules prevent people from carrying sex toys on college campuses.

“Texas has decided it is not all obnoxious or illegal to allow deadly concealed weapons on campus. But walking around with a dildo could land you in trouble,” Jessica Jin, the leader of the “Cocks Not Glocks” protest said.

The students have said that it is their plan to “fight absurdity with absurdity.” The law, which went into effect on August 1, has proved controversial. A prominent dean has already left the university in protest over the new state law that passed in 2015. Texas has allowed concealed carry since 1995 but had kept college campuses gun-free until this year.

Texas has seen several shooting incidents involving guns and yet allows guns on it’s campus. The most notable incident was with Charles Whitman who killed several people with a rifle from a tower on campus. I guess they may need more people to be killed by dildos to allow sex toys to also be openly carried on campus.
