Looks like two more performers will be joining Katy Perry in Arizona in the Super Bowl.
Idina Menzel will sing the National Anthem, while John Legend will perform “America the Beautiful” just before kickoff at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona. On her Twitter account, Menzel tweeted the following: “It was 1991 and I remember it well: Whitney Houston sings the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. Almost as glorious as her voice was her huge radiant smile. I am so humbled and honored to be asked this year.”
As announced, Katy Perry is this year’s Super Bowl Halftime show performer. When asked about performing in the biggest game of the year, she stated:”I’m going to do all the songs that work, I think that my entrance and my exit as of right now they are superb.”
She also announced that Lenny Kravitz will make an appearance during her performance.
