Rumor has it that Fifty Shades of Grey star, Jamie Dornan, may leave.
Reports surfaced and stated that Dornan will not star in the Fifty Shades of Grey sequels because his wife, Amelia Warner was not comfortable with the sex scenes. If you have seen the film, it’s obvious why she would feel this way. However, recent reports are saying it is not true and is ‘pure speculation’.
Dornan has not confirmed or denied the reports but he did admit that Amelia hasn’t seen the movie and probably never will:
“She (Amelia) hasn’t seen the film and I don’t think she will, to be honest, I’d understand if she didn’t want to.”
Director of the film, Sam Taylor-Johnson and author of the books, E.L. James signed a $3 million deal with Universal and Focus Films, giving them the rights to her trio of books. Sam also had creative control of sex scenes in the movie which sources stated caused major friction between them. E.L wanted to make the scenes just as racy as described in the book.
Considering Dornan and Johnson allegedly did not get along during the making of the film, it’s not hard to imagine him leaving the franchise.
