You know nothing, Jon Snow!
They told us he was dead! They killed him in front of our eyes. They even told President Obama he was gone for good! But these new pictures might say otherwise.
Kit Harington, who played Jon Snow in the hit HBO show, Game of Thrones, was photographed arriving at Belfast International Airport (Belfast is where the show is filmed) right around the time of the start of production for the show’s sixth season.
Sounds like Jon Snow might not be off the show just yet…
When the show’s viewers last saw Harington’s character, Snow, he was lying in the snow (haha) outside of Castle Black, bleeding out after being stabbed to death by members of his Night’s Watch. The season five finale left fans devastated with the beloved character’s death, but not ready to accept it.
When Harington was asked about his character’s death, he stated that he was indeed dead, and that the show bid him farewell and told him he was officially done.
“I’m quite dead,” the British actor told Daily News. “It’s over for Jon Snow—at the very least, he gets to join his family and kin and leave this terrible world behind.”
Despite all of the statements confirming Snow’s death and Harington’s dismissal from the show, fans are not ready to accept it. Some are dead set on the idea that we’re all being tricked, hoping and praying that maybe he’ll be reborn from fire (that one’s for you GOT diehards) or just resurrected.
Now that he’s been spotted in Belfast, fans are sure to go nuts over the possibility of his return.
But there is a practical reasoning for his appearance there. The 28-year-old actor may be filming flashback scenes for the show’s season six premiere.
Either way, it looks like we know nothing (about) Jon Snow. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens next season!
