Khloe Kardashian tells all in an exclusive interview with People over Lamar Odom’s brothel ordeal. Excerpts from the interview were released on Wednesday and the full interview comes out this Friday. Kardashian who rushed to her estranged husband Lamar Odom’s bedside and retracted divorce papers a week later explains the thoughts behind her actions.
Kardashian tells People, ‘’All I knew was I had to get there, I had to get to him and make sure he was okay. I hate that he was in that situation. I wouldn’t want anybody in that situation, especially someone I love and care about.”
Kardashian, who filed for divorce from Odom in 2013 and has now put the divorce on hold, claims she has no plans on getting back with Odom. She continues, ‘’There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It’s not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now.”
Odom the former NBA star who was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Oct. 13 is still recovering in hospital facing some serious health issues. Estranged wife Kardashian remains by his side and has even offered to aid him through his recovery if he promises to let go of his drug in fueled behavior.
Kardashian tells People, ‘’I love him always, and I will always love him. I don’t believe love is fickle. I believe when you love someone, you are allowed to love from afar. You don’t have to be with that person in order to love him.”
Reportedly the relationship Kardashian had with basketball player James Harden before Odom’s incident is still on but the relationship has taken a hiatus while she tends to Odom. Harden is allegedly very supportive of Kardashian’s actions.
