Kim Kardashian has been robbed of millions of dollars worth of jewelry.

The incident occurred Sunday night, while Kardashian West was visiting Paris for its fashion week. She had just attended the Givenchy show that night.

A judicial source confirmed to NBC News that while staying in a private mansion, two armed, masked men held the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star at gunpoint, tied her up and locked her in the bathroom. They then proceeded to steal about $10 million worth of jewelry, including a $4.5 million ring and other items totaling $5.6 million.

It is still unknown whether or not any of the items stolen were her own personal jewelry.

The source also stated that five men dressed up as police officers went to the private mansion Kardashian West was staying in. These men then overpowered the guard on duty at the mansion and took the key to Kardashian West’s apartment.

Security was believed to have been light on a Sunday night, which shows that this may have been an inside job, according to a source.

Kardashian West’s spokeswoman confirmed that the star was left “badly shaken but physically unharmed” from the incident.

It is unclear whether or not Kardashian West’s two children — North and Saint — were in the room during the robbery.

Her husband, Kanye West, was performing a show at the Meadows Music and Arts Festival at CitiField in Queens at the time of the incident. Immediately after hearing the news, West told the crowd that he had a “family emergency” and had to leave.

After the terrifying theft, Kardashian West fled back to the United States early Monday morning.
