Nothing like meeting a person for the first time than bashing them with a bat.

An Alabama man who’d been dating a Oregon woman online for two years was left with a fractured skull after she beat him with a baseball bat in their first face-to-face meet, police said.

26-year old Samuel Campbell travel cross-country to meet Haley Fox at her Turner, Oregon home hoping to start a relationship with her.But when he arrived, she allegedly led him to an outside table and told him to close his eyes.The 24-year-old then brutally smashed him over the head with the club.

The reason for this attack? Fox told police that she didn’t want to the Campbell’s girlfriend. She is released on bail and is expected to be arraigned next week.

Campbell is expected to make a full recovery after the attack.
