Mark Salling, the former “Glee” star, is turning himself in to federal authorities for having 2 charges on receiving and possessing child pornography on his laptop and on a flash memory drive.
33-year-old, Salling, was seen leaving a Chase bank on Thursday, the day before his arraignment, with a large amount of cash and then exiting a facility with a $100,000 check made payable to the Clerk of the U.S. District Court. Receiving child pornography is a mandatory 5 year sentence in federal prison and can have a maximin of 20 years, and the same goes for possessing child pornography.
Salling is known for playing Noah “Puck” Puckerman, the bad boy on Glee. His departure from the series has been from off-screen incidents that were giving bad headlines for the show. He has also been fired from the upcoming miniseries Gods and Secrets, after his child pornography charges came to light.
