Looks like the claws are out!
Miley Cyrus has slammed Dolce and Gabbana in an Instagram post on Sunday. She stated that she disagreed with their political views.
This comes after the brand received backlash for dressing First Lady, Melania Trump. The pair released that they were selling T-shirts for $245 saying ‘#Boycott Dolce&Gabbana’.
Cyrus’ brother, Braison walked in one of Dolce & Gabbana’s runway shows on Sunday, and Cyrus took to Instagram to congratulate him, but also to criticise the brand. Hmmm. What an unusual mix.
“PS D&G, I STRONGLY disagree with your politics…. but I do support your company’s effort to celebrate young artists & give them the platform to shine their light for all to see!,” she shared.
Stefano Gabbana reposted Cyrus’ photo, and seemed to be highly offended, but gave the impression he doesn’t care one bit. (We think you do though).
“We are Italian and we don’t care about politics and mostly neither about the American one! We make dresses and if you think about doing politics with a post it’s simply ignorant. We don’t need your posts or comments so next time please ignore us!!,” he wrote.
Let’s keep an eye on this odd feud.
