On Monday, October 13 the New York Knicks had their first home game of the pre season at Madison Square Garden.

Yesterday they celebrated Hispanic Heritage calling themselves “Los Knicks”. There was spanish music blasting, screaming fans and a salsa performance done by children of all ages.

The rookies took the floor throughout most of the game but, Carmelo Anthony, Iman Shumpert, J.R Smith and other prime time players took on the court as well.

You could see a new offensive style from the Knicks as they played against the Raptors. We will be seeing a lot of changes in the Knicks throughout the season.

The pre season game ended with Toronto winning 81-76 Knicks. Although the New York team lost, the highlight of my night was getting a bathroom “selfie” with the fabulous Teyana Taylor.
