Authorities seized rapper Lil Wayne’s 30 million worth of art from inside his Miami Beach mansion to satisfy a judgement stating he owes 2 million to a private jet company Signature Group, on Tuesday.
A footage is revealed during the raid as they executed a judge’s order at the rapper’s 11 million waterfront home, according to Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s deputies.
The sheriff’s deputies had a break order allowing them to storm the mansion. There was an individual who valued the assets inside and could decide which items to seize, according to sources.
The company owns Lil Wayne’s Gulfstream II but sued the rapper after he stopped paying his $55,000-a-month lease.
In September, the judgement came down and the rapper was ordered to pay the large sum of money.
Signature Group had an initial request denied to have officers seize items from Wayne’s home in order to recover the cash, according to DailyMail.
