Raven Symone, Disney Channel alum, 29, discussed the now-viral Spring Valley High School assault and arrest video with the rest of the show’s co-hosts.
“There is an issue with police officers in predominantly ‘minority’ type of schools taking kids for disorderly conduct right to prison. That’s a problem,” said Symone.
There was no mention, however, of the massive backlash the actress received after her comments about the incident from Tuesday’s show, according to US.
During the previous “The View” segment Symone stated:
“The girl was told multiple times to get off the phone. There’s no right or reason for him to be doing this type of harm — that’s ridiculous — but at the same time, you gotta follow the rules in school. First of all, why are there cellphones in school? This shouldn’t even be a problem to begin with, and he shouldn’t have been acting like that on top of it.”
It seems as though people have had enough of Raven-Symoné’s shenanigans on “The View,” and a newly created petition has drawn over 84,000 signatures to have her fired!
