Ray Rice is ready to leave this part of his life behind and move forward.
On Thursday morning, the domestic violence charges against the former Baltimore Ravens running back was dropped, Atlantic City Judge Michael A. Donio confirmed. Ray Rice finished his pre-trial intervention program.
Rice has been charged with domestic violence after an altercation with his then-fiancee Janay Palmer in an elevator at an Atlantic City hotel last year. Rice initially received only a 2-game suspension from the NFL, but after elevator footage of his assault was released to the public in September 2014, he was dropped by the Ravens and suspended indefinitely from the NFL.
He is still a free agent.
