The name ‘Taylor Swift” is always making headlines but this time it’s because Rihanna admitted that she won’t ever want to be on the same stage as Taylor Swift.
“I don’t think I would [join Taylor on stage]. I just don’t think it makes sense,” the singer said in an interview with NME.
RiRi continued claiming that unlike Swift, she was not a role model stating:
“I don’t think our brands are the same: I don’t think they match. I don’t think our audiences are the same. In my mind, she’s a role model, I’m not.”
Hmm, maybe not!
This must be disappointing to Swift since she shows to be huge on female unity as she did in her recent song, “Bad Blood.” Despite the female unity, Swift has been making headlines such as the past beef with Nicki Minaj or how “Bad Blood” was directed to Katy Perry.
..Now this. It’s also not like Swift keeps her mouth shut either. She responded to Minaj in the past stating:
“I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other.”
This is definitely not the first time that RiRi has talked about feeling unpleasant with the term “role model,” according to The Guardian.
According to The Guardian, last year RiRi told USA Today:
“I don’t like to use that word because people have their own opinion on what that means to them. I can’t really say I’m a role model. I’m not perfect. I’m not trying to sell that.”
