As a controversial Fox commentator, Stacey Dash has been criticized by many since her January 20 appearance on Fox & Friends where spewed her stance on Black History Month and BET. “Either we want to have segregation or integration,” she stated. “And if we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the Image Awards where you’re only awarded if you’re black.” To add insult to injury, Dash also stated that “there shouldn’t be a Black History Month. … We’re Americans. Period,”
During the NAACP Image Awards on Friday, February 5, Anthony Anderson called out Dash for some of her controversial statements about BET and Black History Month. “What the hell is she doing?” Anderson, 45, asked the audience. “Doesn’t she know that the Fox network is using her? She’s just an Ann Coulter dipped in butterscotch.”
Coulter, a conservative commentator, is known for making controversial statements. Coming from the extreme right, Ann Coulter has slandered Arabs and Muslims on many occasions.
“Baby, don’t let ‘em use you! Come back to the black people,” he continued. “Get back to working some of those beautiful C movies that you used to do. I promise I will see them!”
Poor Stacey has been Bamboozled! Like the 2000 Spike Lee movie by the same name, Bamboozled means to deceive or get the better of (someone) by trickery, flattery, or the like; hoodwinked. Stacey’s being used by the Fox Network to do their conservative bidding. There’s nothing worse than getting a black person to slam black history month. Such a tragedy!
Never one to hold back or hold her tongue, Dash was quick to respond to Mr. Anderson by tweeting: “Well it’s funny how [a] woman who weights 105 wet! Can get grown-ass men to act like little girls! Haha”. Oh Stacey, Stacey, Stacey! Sigh.
