“Do it for the whales!”

That was probably the phrase running through Jack*ss star Steve-O’s mind on Sunday night, as he pulled off a very dangerous stunt that ultimately got him arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department.

The story gets pretty crazy, so prepare yourself. Are you ready?

Apparently, the actor took an inflatable Orca whale, climbed up a 100-foot crane above Sunset Boulevard, and then proceeded to set off fireworks from the top of the vehicle.

Oh, and the inflatable whale had the words “SeaWorld sucks” written on it.

In fact, at this point, we can label these stunts as typical Steve-O behavior! In 2014, the actor changed a sign on a San Diego freeway from ‘SeaWorld Drive’ to (can you guess?) ‘SeaWorld sucks!’

The celebrity fled the scene last year, so he never really got in trouble for the vandalism. This time, however, the stakes were a bit higher.

Reports indicate that the Jack*ss star is still in police custody after his stunt on Sunday night, as the authorities are trying to figure out what to charge him with.

According to the L.A. Times, “[Steve-O] is expected to be charged with suspicion of trespassing, setting a firework without a permit and conspiracy to commit a crime.”

Many local authorities were particularly angered by this stunt because, according to the fire department’s spokesperson, “Some of the resources on this hoax could have been devoted to a real emergency.”

The “resources” that she was referring to were the 80 firefighters and 30 police officers that responded to Steve-O’s protest. Many civilians below just saw a man on a 100-foot crane, and assumed he may be attempting suicide.

Way to go, Steve-O.

We understand his frustration with SeaWorld. We saw Blackfish, too! On the other hand, maybe there was a better way for him to get his point across, without risking his life and scaring half of Los Angeles!
