An Easton High School substitute teacher Kelly Aldinger is being charged with “institutional sexual assault” for having sex with a 17- year old boy. Apparently the two were caught being seen having sex by a cop who arrested the two. Reportedly Aldinger confessed to the crime and the student backed up her story. He is a minor so his name is remaining nameless. The D.A. on the case Northampton County Assistant District Attorney Tatum Wilson is confident of closing the case because of just that much. Though the preliminary hearing isn’t until May 31, 2016 at 9am Wilson quotes:
“I have no doubt in my ability to prove the case,” Wilson said. Allegedly after more digging reports say that the two have known each other Reportedly since the student has been in middle school and are assuming sexual activity between the student and teacher since the boy was as young as 16 years old. The D.A. Wilson says these charges are serious and she is confident of a conviction. Easton Area High School is supportive in the on-going investigtion. Kelly Aldinger was employed by Source 4 Teachers and placed at Easton High. She has taught the 17 year old boy before according to Lt. Matthew Gerould in a press release.
