Marion Hugh “Suge” Knight Jr. is an American record producer and music executive. He is the co-founder and former CEO of Death Row Records. The notorious rap producer Suge Knight, known for working with the late great rapper Tupac Shakur. Suge Knight has filed a lawsuit against Chris Brown and the owners of 10aks Night Club in L.A. where Suge was shot at one of Chris Browns MTV Video Music Awards Pre-Party in 2014.
Suge is reportedly suing the club owners for their security not being adequate enough and checking for weapons as we always see. Suge Knight is known for his various run-ins with the law and his role in the movie that hit last year from the L.A. rap group N.W.A.’s Straight Outta Compton. Suge was on the set of the movie scene when he got into an altercation and ran a man over killing him on the set….not surprised after we saw the scene from Straight Outta Compton when he pistol whipped a guy for taking his parking spot. Good ole Suge… So, comes to my surprise that Knight is now the one the pointing fingers at singer Chris Brown to get his lawsuit to go through.
Suge Knight currently has 2 felonies. Suge is reportedly one felony away from three-strikes. The “Big Bang” that could put him away for life. Suge faces 25 years to life if he is convicted in the restaurant parking lot incident he is currently being held over. His trial is scheduled for August 1st.
Paper work submitted to the L.A.County Superior Court has all of Suge’s accusations claiming Chris Brown has, as he puts it;
“well-documented track record of hosting events and/or parties in which violence frequently erupted,…” Suge Knight, L.A.County Superior Court documents
Suge Knight reportedly received gun shot wounds to his abdomen chest and arm. He is claiming the trauma caused by Chris Browns event is why he acted the way he did in the parking lot of restaurant while on set in 2015, causing his murder trial. I did find an interview from Tupacs former bodyguard, Frank Alexander who is now deceased. This is a very interesting interview as Frank tells who murders Tupac, and refuses to help Suge Knight in court. Frank Alexander was later found dead shot in his head. Read the full interview here.
