Taylor Swift’s “1989” album is breaking more music records!
According to Nielsen Music, the album has now exceeded 5 million in U.S. sales, making it the fastest seller to reach that level in more than 10 years.
It has only been 36 weeks since the release of the album, and that also makes it the speediest album to hit 5 million copies since Usher’s “Confessions” hit 5 million in its 19th week on sale.
Swift also broke the records with her “Blank Space” music video on Vevo with 1 billion views. Back in May, Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video got 20.1 million views in just 24 hours. Now that’s record-breaking!
And it looks like this album’s gonna break, break, break, break, break even more and more records!
