I loved the movie the The Blind Side so much that I saw it four times in the theater.
Quintin Aaron starred in that Oscar-nominated film, and was reportedly kicked off a US Airways flight today because he couldn’t fit into his seat.
The 6 foot 8, 500-pound Aaron mentioned to TMZ that he usually buys two seats, but this time the tiny plane was booked.
He got on Flight 4215 at about 9:30 a.m. for a one-hour flight from Philadelphia to Rochester, New York. A flight attendant had approached him and kindly asked him to disembark.
According to the actor, “a passenger who booked the seat next to his was unable to squeeze himself past Aaron’s figure.”
Aaron stated that he had tried to “reason with the cabin crew, but to no avail.”
Upon exiting the 50-seat aircraft, Aaron had booked another flight, and was able to get two seats for himself.
Aaron is probably best known for his role in The Blind Side. In 2013 he had appeared in the film 1982 with Wayne Brady.
Two years ago, Aaron started the Quinton Aaron Foundation to raise awareness of childhood obesity and bullying. The non-profit organization also gives assistance to kids in need.
