The Interview did pretty well at the box office.
The controversial film which was pulled from theaters due to the film’s portrayal of North Korea leader Kim Jong Un, made an impressive one million dollars at the box office. The results of Wednesday’s online release are not known, but if one million people rented it through YouTube, that’s a cool $6 million. The movie was also made available on Google Play, Microsoft’s Xbox video store and a special Sony (SNE) web site called SeeTheInterview.com.
For a movie that was released at limited theaters, it seems that audiences wanted to see this movie due to being so controversial. The movie received mixed reviews by critics.
I have seen the movie and I didn’t really see anything controversial with the movie.
