We may know actress Tisha Campbell-Martin from “Martin,” “My Wife and Kids,” or even films such as “House Party.” The funny and phenomenal actress shares a secret that will blow you away.
The former co-star of sitcom “Martin” recently revealed that she was raped at the age 3. In an appearance on the talk show “The Daily Helpline,” Campbell-Martin admitted that she had never publicly talked about the assault.
“I knew as a child that I did nothing wrong and that this wasn’t my fault,” said Campbell-Martin. “I have found forgiveness in the guilt that I might have had.”
Campbell-Martin hasn’t released a solo single in two decades, but her latest song, “Steel Here” is the most powerful yet.
In a series of tweets, Campbell-Martin explained some of the themes and imagery in the video, writing that the video represents “a purging of anger, grudge, pain, low self-esteem, self-deprecation or any negative emotion.”
Campbell-Martin also said that she received an apology letter written by her attacker. In the video, the letter is written on her body.
