Ella Fuehring and her mother, Sarah Fuehring spent their Sunday afternoon pumpkin-picking. Sadly, both were unable to actually pick out a pumpkin because of a horrible accident that left them pinned in between two buses.
On Sunday, October. 12, the family went to “Alstede Farm” in Chester, New Jersey.
When they arrived they noticed how crowded the farm was and decided to leave. Sarah, Ella and a family friend, Joanna Alemany, were standing in front of a shuttle bus when another one slammed into them.
They were all pinned in between the buses and both Ella and Sarah were on the floor in pain reports the “Daily Mail”.
Sarah who was just two years old did not survive the tragic accident.
“I cannot close my eyes without seeing it happen again and again. I keep seeing Sarah’s face when she realized. My heart is so broken,” Joanna said during an interview from her hospital bed.
The busses left Ella’s mom, Sarah, with a crushed femur, and Joanna with a crushed pelvis. Thankfully, both are expected to survive the accident.
Sarah’s community has rallied together in hopes of raising enough money to cover Ella’s funeral costs. Over $33k has been raised as of Oct. 14. They only asked for $7k.
Our prayers are with the Fuehring family during this difficult time.
