How sweet of Ronda Rousey!
Ronda Rousey accepted a viral Facebook invitation to attend the Marine Corps Ball with Jarrod Haschert, a man who calls the UFC superstar his “celebrity crush.”
But Rousey on the dance floor? We shall see!
On August 22, Haschert spoke in a 34-second video online from Camp Lejeune, North Carolina while wearing his full marine uniform. He deeply expressed his admiration for the undefeated UFC women’s bantamweight champion.
Several days after Haschert asked his “celebrity crush,” Rousey, to the annual Marine Corps Ball at Camp Lejeune, she accepted his proposal for the December prom.
“I love everything you do, and I think you are a phenomenal person,”said Haschert. “Which is why it would be my honor to take you to the Marine Corps Ball on December 11. … I hope you take this in consideration because, if you do, you will truly be making my dream come true.”
The video reached over 4 million views.
“I would go, for sure,” said Rousey in a video posted credited to Splash News.
“He’s cute. He’s gotta be a gentleman, though, I’m not a first date kind of girl,” said Rousey. “But, I dunno, we’ll see when I meet him.”
Rousey had previously been unable to attend due to her preparations for a January fight, she said, but the upcoming fight has since been moved up to November, according to TMZ.
The only issue is that they don’t know how to contact each other!
